In 1984, on the 11th anniversary of Roe v Wade, President Ronald Reagan issued a presidential proclamation. He designated the third Sunday of January as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. In the text of the proclamation, President Reagan stated,
“We have been given the precious gift of human life…It is fitting, then, on the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in Roe v Wade that struck down State anti-abortion laws, that we reflect anew on these blessings, and on our corresponding responsibility to guard with care the lives and freedoms of even the weakest of our fellow human beings… Now, Therefore, I, Ronald Reagan, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim Sunday, January 22, 1984, as National Sanctity of Human Life Day. I call upon the citizens of this blessed land to gather in homes and places of worship to give thanks for the gift of life and to reaffirm our commitment to the dignity of every human being and the sanctity of each human life.”
Since then, Churches around the United States use this Day to Celebrate God’s Gift of Life and continue to recognize the third Sunday in January as Sanctity of Human Life Sunday as a time to Pray & Reflect! January 22, 2023, is the first Sanctity of Human Life Sunday since the overturning of Roe v Wade, In the U.S. alone, Over 64,ooo,ooo Babies Have Lost their lives due to Abortion.
Options Now has been “Choosing Life” Since 1991
- Over 15,500 Women and their Families sought help in the midst of an unplanned pregnancy.
- More than 3,500 Moms and Dads chose life for their baby.
- Over 160 women and men have found healing from their past abortion through our confidential program, Embrace Freedom.
- Over 600 women and men have placed their trust in Christ’s salvation as the Gospel was planted in their hearts.

The Annual Fundraising Dinner is our annual spring fundraising event designed to introduce new friends to the ministry and celebrate life with our champions. We are so grateful to gather together to raise vital support for Options Now and celebrate what God has done through our 32 years of ministry here in Valdosta, South Georgia, and the North Florida area. We look forward to what He has planned for the future. Because of YOU, Hope Lives Here!
Our 2023 Annual Fundraising Dinner will be Tuesday, March 21, Doors open at 5:30 pm.
Our Keynote Speaker will Kirk Cameron and an opportunity will be presented to become an Options Now Champion- financial supporter.
Kirk is the Actor Best Known for “Growing Pains,” “Left Behind” & “Fireproof;” He is an Advocate for Christianity & Gospel-Centered Marriage.
Vision Hosts fill their tables first for this In-Person Dinner. (We will not be casting this “Live” online this year.) You may add your name to our Guest List by calling 229-333-0080, and then be contacted as seating becomes available. Confirmation Cards will be sent prior to the event to confirm your reservation, with the place and time of the event.

Options Now’s Annual Change for Life, (Baby Bottle Boomerang) Campaign!
Our local area churches are key in this annual summer fundraising event, by handing out empty baby bottles to their members, usually on Mother’s Day. Members- families, children, Sunday school classes, youth, etc. fill their baby bottles with change, bills, checks, and return them to their church by Father’s Day, (usually).
The goal per bottle is $25 to provide life-saving services to women and their babies.
What can this spare change do?
$25.00 = Pregnancy Testing for one woman
$50.00 = 5 Bibles
$100.00 = 2 Abstinence Presentations for Youth Groups
$250.00 = Reaches five patients through advertising
$1500.00 = Funds one month of medical services
(Pregnancy Testing, Ultrasounds, & STD Testing)
HOW THE CAMPAIGN WORKS?
Churches are contacted to enlist their assistance with the campaign. Participating churches place an order for the number of bottles to be distributed to the congregation.
- Bottles will be available for pick-up the week before Mother’s Day and should be distributed to church members on Mother’s Day (usually).
- Bottles should be returned to the church on Father’s Day (usually) and returned to Options Now soon after.
Ways for members to participate:
- Text your donation amount (i.e. $20) to 229-210-3300, then follow the instructions on your phone.
- Online go to www.OptionsNow.org and click the “Donate” button.
- QR code is printed on the tag to access Giving Page.
- Fill the bottle with cash, check, or change and return the bottle on Father’s Day.
- PRAY for the baby and his/her family whose name is on the bottle tag.
Great resources will be available in to help you maximize your campaign and keep the momentum going. It’s easy!

It is promoted through our Email Newsletters, website, and Social Media. Options Now benefits from this annual international day of giving to help supply vital funds for our free services for patients, dads, and babies who come to Options Now.
